We told you earlier about Newt Gingrich’s Tuesday night dinner date: a fundraiser for anti-gay group Minnesota Family Council, which has suggested that gay teens who commit suicide were simply reaping the consequences of an immoral lifestyle.

As it turns out, we weren’t the only folks who circled this event on our calendars. Progressive activist Nick Espinosa crashed the event and proceeded to dump a box of glitter on Gingrich, before being escorted from the premises. Read our full story on Gingrich and the MFC here.
